Office Hours: Feeling Stuck With Your Trading? Start Here 

Trading can feel overwhelming. You’re not always sure if you’re doing it “right.”

That’s why I run Office Hours inside the First 40 Trading Club. They give members a live place to get unstuck, whether it’s on their trading plan, course material, or anything else tied to their trading approach. Here’s some pointers for all traders whether you attend these sessions or not.

What Happens Inside

When you’re stuck, having a space to talk through the challenge can make all the difference. So Office Hours are one hour Zoom Meetings (not Webinars) offered twice a month. Members attend with microphones and even cameras on if they like, like how clubs used to meet IRL back in the day. 

This connection and ability to talk to me directly (not just type in a chat) truly multiplies the value of the session. I speak to each trader directly and screen-share and we work through whatever’s going on in their trading and personal journey of building, testing, and adapting a trading plan..

What’s included? Pretty much anything! 

• Looking at a particular ticker that you trade or observe and talking it through with me as I demo on my TradeStation charts
  
• Visiting a specific course lesson to get more clear on a pattern or method
  
• Opening up one of my recent Skinny reports to ask a question to better understand how to use my research in your trading
  
• Looking at a recent pick from my RSI Power Zones Scanner (we have beta users in right now) and talking through the setup

All while relating all of this back to YOUR trading plan.

My goal is to help traders get unstuck and to move forward, no matter where they are in their trading journey.

The Unique Twist

Over time, Office Hours have become more than just Q&A. They’ve shaped the club AND other HimaReddy products and services..

For example, in a recent call there were First 40 members attending who also happen to get my ES Futures Outlook research. They asked a series of questions that we talked through together that led to me updating, for the better, exactly how I state my “bias” in each morning’s report. 

This has become way more clear and easy to incorporate into each trader’s process. And this never would have happened if we weren’t able to “talk it out” in this Zoom Meeting setting. 

The conversations along with my screen shares to support answering questions results in lots of “aha” moments with the support of a trading community – others you can actually talk to – while you move through the process.

Track Your Questions, Not Just Your Trades

Office Hours are for First 40 Trading Club members and complement the curriculum they're already moving through. The curriculum gives the methods step by step, and Office Hours give the real-time space to workshop what’s on your mind. And they can bring any questions about any other HimaReddy products or services to these calls as well.

Even if you’re not in First 40, here’s something you can do to help get you unstuck in your trading. The next time you analyze the charts of the market you trade, or make a trade and review it, ask yourself:

If I were about to enter a Zoom meeting with Hima, what question would I bring to her about my trading?

This will get you to start to think critically about your trading in a different way – looking at how you would talk through challenges or changes. Just putting the question into words often reveals the answer — or at least the next step you need to take.
