It’s very easy to feel a buildup of stress or frustration while you’re trading.
And there’s an effective quick stress management technique I shared a few years ago that I still use today!
There are days where things don’t go how I expected… or I just feel a little off. And instead of trying to ignore it or push through it, I give myself a specific way to actually deal with it.
Not fix it. Just process it.
That alone makes a bigger difference than most traders would expect.
Because when you don’t give yourself that space, those emotions tend to carry over—into your next trade, your next decision, even your ability to follow your plan.
But when you do use this technique, something really interesting happens.
What feels like a bigger issue usually starts to settle faster than you’d think. Sometimes you even find a resolution… or you realize it wasn’t as heavy as it felt in the moment.
And from there, you can shift into a much clearer mindset.
That’s really the goal—getting yourself back to a place where you can think, decide, and trade more cleanly.
