Even if you don’t own Amazon or Apple, you gotta be aware of when they are reporting earnings and how their share prices react.
Because like META and MSFT that I mentioned yesterday, these two “A” players are among the largest companies in the broad market indices we trade – different variations of the S&P 500 or Nasdaq whether that’s ES futures or a TQQQ leveraged ETF like we covered last night at Ticker Request Live.
Amazon (AMZN)
The April 7 2025 “tariff week” low provides the anchor to a support trendline joining the February 27 2026 low, confirmed on March 27th. I took that trendline and projected it from the Nov 3 high and BOOM it helped to catch the May 5 2026 high.
So heading into earnings, this provides context for where price action is most likely headed. Given the current weakening shares after a Falling Window on July 23, it is my opinion that shares of AMZN will trade lower toward $220.47 (March 5 Old Top) next.
If shares instead trade higher from here, they’d have to clear the July 16th high at $258.08 to get me excited about the possibility of retesting the all-time high at $278.56 ahead of expansion from there.

Earnings are Estimates, Price is FACT
