The part that felt silly at first is the part that The part that felt silly at first is the part that worked 👇 This isn't chart work. It's mindset work, and you do it standing up. How I'd start: 1. Search Tony Robbins' four archetypes exercise. You can find it online for free. 2. Do it before your trading day starts, not in the middle of a trade. 3. Find a room where you can close the door. 4. Stand and go through all four: the warrior, the magician, the lover and the sovereign. 5. Before you open your charts, check in with your emotional state. Calm or anxious? What NOT to do: ✗ Don't do it the first time with anyone around. There's physical movement and maybe some guttural sounds. ✗ Don't do it sitting at your desk. It's a physical exercise. ✗ Don't skip it because it sounds a little crazy. "I'd feel ridiculous doing this." That's exactly why the first time is behind closed doors. Once you're in it, it's fun, it's engaging, and it's a really good way to dive into yourself quickly. For me, the change showed up in my emotional state in trading. Way calmer. Way less anxious. The part most traders only think about when it's a The part most traders only think about when it's already too late 👇 Your trading runs on tech. Every piece of it can fail at the worst moment. How to do your tech stock check: 1. List what your trading depends on. Your internet, your physical equipment, your phone, even your headphones. 2. For each one, ask: if this goes out in the middle of a trade, what do I use instead? 3. Set up the backup before you need it. Test your phone hotspot. Know which coffee shop nearby you can get to. 4. Save your brokerage's phone number today, so you can call in and talk to a human if you can't get back online. What NOT to do: ✗ Don't start looking for a plan B while you're in a trade with no connection. ✗ Don't count on finding your broker's number once you're already offline. ✗ Don't keep relying on gear that's getting less reliable with no spare. My second pair of headphones was about 20 bucks. "But my wifi almost never goes out." It doesn't have to go out often. It only has to go out once, while you have a trade open. That's why I always have one pair charging while the other one's in use. Here's the part most traders skip when they set a Here's the part most traders skip when they set a goal 👇 Your first freedom number isn't a dream. It's a statement. How to find it: 1. Open your credit card bill or checking account. Whatever you use to pay for your life. 2. Look at the monthly total. That's your monthly output. 3. Make that number your first trading goal per month. Bills come to $10,000 a month? Your first goal is $10,000 a month. It's really easy to calculate. Why start there? Covering the life you already have relieves the stress and gives you income security first. What NOT to do: ✗ Don't set your first number off a life you're not living yet. ✗ Don't guess. Look at the actual statement. ✗ Don't treat your first number as the finish line. You revisit it and expand from there. "But I want the big juicy life." Good. Keep it. It's the next number, not the first one. And if you're already living it, that's awesome. Your freedom number stays put, with the flexibility to grow. Start with what covers your life now. Then expand. Here's how to use your 15 minutes on Sunday 👇 Not Here's how to use your 15 minutes on Sunday 👇 Nothing is moving on Sunday. That's exactly why it's the best time to look. My Sunday check: 1. Look back at the last five trading days. What just happened? What unfolded? 2. Find where you are. Know exactly where price sits while things are not moving. 3. Look ahead. Note the economic data coming up this week, before it hits on Monday. 4. Write your read down. So Monday's news input can't quietly rewrite it. What NOT to do: ✗ Don't open your charts for the first time on Monday morning. ✗ Don't do your weekly analysis with the news already coming in. ✗ Don't turn Sunday into a whole project. Even 15 minutes gets you ahead. "But the markets are closed. What is there to look at?" That's the point. When nothing is moving, you get context. You start the week knowing where you are, instead of reacting to it. Futures, stocks, options, ETFs, forex or crypto. Same rule.
